Howell Wallace has owned and operated Pratt Insurance for the past 47 years, leading the Independent Agency’s commitment to provide exceptional and innovative service to its valued customers.
After proudly serving with and receiving an Honorable Discharge from the United States Marine Corps (1963 – 1969), Howell joined the Pratt Insurance team in 1974. In 1976, after learning the industry at the grassroots level, he was named President & CEO of Smyrna’s oldest continuously operating business.
Under Howell’s leadership, Pratt Insurance has grown significantly, expanding the geographical service area as well as Pratt’s product line, while also adapting to the ever-changing needs of the community and the insurance industry itself. One thing that has not changed during his four decades of ownership is Howell’s commitment to honoring Pratt’s legacy as a trusted insurance partner and an industry leader. Howell and the Pratt Team look forward to continuing to support the community by providing expertise in the areas of personal, commercial and equine insurance and claims.
